Strong: Having strength or power greater than average or expected.
Strength: The quality of being strong.
Congratulations, you've informed me of so much. Better definitions: of great magnitude, powerful, effective (this is my collection).
Stay strong. Even though you might feel as though things are harder now than ever, you need to stay strong. For both of us. It's not easy for me either, but it's something we have to endure. Life will work itself out in the end.

I realized
Sometimes focusing on the good is much more effective than focusing on the bad. Rather than criticize, we should encourage. Rather than tear down, we should build up. It warms a person's heart to receive sincere compliments and positive comments.
While we don't want to perpetuate inflated egos or cockiness, a little support never hurts. For those who are especially down, who are in need of the encouragement, kind words can go far.
So next time, when you're busy pointing out someone's faults...just take a moment to think - maybe it would be better if you pointed out their better qualities, their strengths. After all, this could be you at some point.

A good present
If anyone ever wants to get me a present, buy me some Ayumi Hamasaki music =]. Considering she has like 40+ albums, stick to the non-remixes, even though I do like those too. teehee. Just saying.

Some love quotes
"Love me when I least deserve, because that's when I really need it."
"Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you I had no control over."
"Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love." – Neil Gaiman
“No, this trick won't work...How on earth are you ever going to explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love?” – Albert Einstein
“For an instant, love can transform the world.”
“There is no difference between a wise man and a fool when they fall in love.”
“To be in love is merely to be in a state of perpetual anesthesia - to mistake an ordinary young woman for a goddess.”
“To love is find pleasure in the happiness of the person loved.”
“Nobody loves a woman because she is handsome or ugly, stupid or intelligent. We love because we love.”
"Trying to forget someone you love is like trying to remember someone you never met."
"As food is needed for the body, them same way love is needed for the soul. Food strengthens the body while love strengths the soul. A person is incomplete without love."
"To live is like to love, all reason is against it, and all healthy instinct for it."
"The higher you climb on love's ladder; the harder you fall."
"To love someone is nothing. To be loved by someone is something. To love and be loved by someone is everything."
"Love me for a second, and I will make that second last a lifetime!"
"If love is not worth waiting for, it's not worth having."
*...but have not love, I am nothing.*

Believe Me
When I say you would not want to be me. There is no reason to be jealous of me, unless your life really, really, really sucks and you're in jail for life or something.
I could be specific, but I don't like you enough to explain. So, you've been warned.

Searching...
...in vain for what's not there.
Seeing illusions, imagining fantasy where there is only reality.
Fooling myself, living in denial, whatever you wanna call it.
Turns out I was smarter than I thought.

Balance
I've come to believe in balance. That is, two opposing forces will eventually appear in equal, or almost-equal, proportions. For instance, light and dark will come to match each other. Good and bad will indulge themselves in equal amounts. Happiness and unhappiness will strike with equal force. etc., etc. You get the point.
Why is this so? Well, experience told me so, that's why. Lately, I've been particularly aware of how balanced my life is. A good day will certainly (and often quickly) be returned by an equally bad day. A successful week will be countered by an unproductive week. Even a day that starts out good can end up bad. And all this vice versa, of course. It would appear that our universe - like Noah's animals and Adam and Eve - likes to come in pairs.
Yin and Yang: How could I not mention this, when it is so appropriate? The idea of Yin and Yang is the philosophy that opposing, complementary forces are naturally connected and give rise to each other. In other words, a good day begets a bad day, and a bad day begets a good day - a never-ending cycle of good and bad, how quaint. But more accurately, it would be like having a half-good, half-bad day. Two equal parts in one whole. In order for one to rise, the other must too rise. One's disappearance is the other's disappearance as well. These two are taking the "All for one, and one for all" ideal pretty seriously.
Wiki's thoughts on the matter: "Yin and yang are complementary opposites within a greater whole. Everything has both yin and yang aspects, which constantly interact, never existing in absolute stasis."
Never in absolute stasis, you say? It would seem that I have no hope for eternal peace then. Ahh, darnit.

"If I Speak in the Tongues of Men and of Angels...
"...but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal..." - 1 Corinthians 13:1
Hmm. I already referenced this. Oh well, I do love the chapter (pun not intended).
All work and no play makes Mark a stressed kid-day? I want, I want. hmm...idea!

Santa Claus
1 North Pole
North Pole City, North Pole 00001
Dear Santa,
For last Christmas, because I didn't get too much and I am nice enough to give you a second chance, I want...
1) a week or rest/respite where time is frozen and I sleep.
2) a week for me to catch up in school, figure out how to stay caught up, and not fail in life as I am currently.
3) some of that sanity (refer to FB graph) that I lost back...
4) less work..? Or a ticket back in time so I can not take AP Physics.
5) 1+ acceptance letters/statuses (the 1 being Stanford) in three weeks.
6) And finally, an all-expenses-paid trip to Anh Thai's reception in the summer wouldn't be bad.
And, if you're running low on wish-grants, 5 is the most important, 6 is not expected, 4 is wishful thinking, 1 and 2 are impossible, and 3 is a half-joke. =]
Of course, God, if you want to be my Santa for a minute and give me all these things, I wouldn't mind at all. In fact, I'd very much like that.
zzZZzz. Goodnight.
