I haven't written here in awhile - apologies. But I wrote a couple blogs while waiting for my Brown interviewer at Friendly's...(a week ago)
"Ice Cream"
I'm sitting here, about to have ice cream. Forbidden Fuge Brownie, or Ultimate Cookies 'n Cream? The first is a mystery - I don't remember what it tastes like, but it looks promising. The latter I will certainly like, but I just had cookies 'n cream last night. So, take the risk, or go for what is comfortable, what is definite?
I'm a bit of a risktaker. Sometimes I think things through before charging in recklessly, sometimes I don't. Who doesn't like a little bit of spontaneity? Besides, I'm still alive, aren't I? Well, that's debatable, but I'll leave that for another time.
Risks, risks, risks. I don't think it's the adrenaline, if there is any. The mystery of what makes it attractive, don't you think? Girls say that about guys too. But, I have the confidence to make me go for it, so why not? Better than regretting leaving it unresolved for later, eh?
So go on, take some risks. You might get hurt, but at least you'll learn something.
-----A side note-----
How interesting. A man - black, unshaved, with a baseball hat grey sweater, black coat if it matters - walked in, with a pretty complicated order. A burger on toasted bread, hold everything but the onions, mayonaise on the side. He's got a gruff voice too, and some typical slang in his language. The dialect is modern is what I mean. And the cashier - female, white, pink shirt, black Friendly's apron if it matters -took it like any other order, minus a few additional orders to the cook. Nice communication, I must say. But anyway, the guy's got some pretty nice shoes, and he he's not broke. Pretty cool stuff. Did I mention the girl is training someone? Big, tall, male, and looks like he's from South. Working at Friendly's doesn't seem too bad.
